What is a Birth doula?
A doula is a trained to specialize in the areas of physical and emotional support of the pregnant and laboring person. Doulas spend time getting to know you, your partner and your family. We seek to provide you with information, resources and support to achieve the birth that you vision. As doulas, we spend a lot of our time and energy navigating the local birth climate which helps you to understand what to expect at different birth settings and with different care providers.
